Out now in Early Access on Steam. Launched July 14, 2026, alongside the free Stickplosion Editor (map + card creation). Full 1.0 launch targeted for September 2026 — see the roadmap.
The arena fights back.
Stickplosion is a fast, chaotic 2D pixel-art PvP brawler where every wall, floor, and platform is fair game. Carve a tunnel, drop the ground out from under a rival, or wall yourself in to reload — the terrain is fully destructible, and the smartest fighter bends the arena to their will.
What it is
- Fully destructible terrain — blast it, build it, bury your rivals in it. No two matches play the same.
- Steam multiplayer — invite friends and play up to 8 players over Steam P2P. No IPs, no port-forwarding.
- Roguelite ability drafts — pick a fresh power-up between every round and stack a build on the fly, including community-made cards.
- Free-for-All or teams — every fighter for themselves, or Team Deathmatch with up to four squads. More modes are on the roadmap.
- Bots anytime — fill a lobby or sharpen your aim solo against tunable AI.
- Build your own arenas — the free standalone Stickplosion Editor: design maps, test them solo, and publish straight to the Steam Workshop.
- Design your own cards — craft custom ability cards in the Stickplosion Editor and draft community decks into your runs.
- Couch play — up to four players on one machine, a controller each, sharing one camera. Player one can stay on mouse and keyboard.
- Play your way — custom characters, in-game chat, full controller support, handheld-ready text scaling, and 31 languages.
More to come
Stickplosion is in active development. On the way:
- Expanded music & sound effects — a bigger soundtrack and punchier, more reactive SFX.
- More built-in maps — a growing pool of ready-to-play arenas.
- More character options — deeper customization and unlockables.
- More game modes — fresh objectives and new ways to play.
